Ventilated decking of granaries

Ventilated decking is a modern way of organizing grain ventilation in silos throughout the entire storage area, which eliminates the formation of “dead” non-ventilated areas. While long-term grain storing, it helps to avoid losses, associated with “burning” of grain, molds and pests in the areas with poor ventilation.
During the storage, a fan regularly works, supplying air through the air duct. Atmospheric air passes through the perforated decking, then passes from below to the grain mass, and, having passed through it, comes out.
A special form of decking and slot-like holes that exclude their clogging with grains, husks and other debris enables the passage of the maximum airflow throughout the entire grain storage area.
The technology of installation of ventilated decks is quite simple: a specially designed support frame is prepared on the foundation for the further laying of aeration sheets.
